Chris Pyke, DPT, Director

Chris is the Director and Physical Therapist at the Spine Rehab & Aquatic Center. He graduated from the University at Buffalo with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2007. After school, he moved to Charlotte, NC where he worked in an outpatient setting for a couple years. Then, Chris moved to Roanoke, VA where he also worked in an outpatient setting focusing on spine and sports rehabilitation.

From Syracuse, NY, Chris enjoys water sports, tennis, golf, soccer, basketball, football, and skiing. He was introduced to physical therapy when he was playing tennis in high school and injured his back one week before the season started.  He went to physical therapy and did not miss a match.  While at UB, Chris played tennis for the men’s varsity team.  Chris enjoys all different diagnosis of the body, but has been drawn to the spine and vestibular system.  He is currently training for certification in McKenzie training/technique. 

Lynn Taylor, DPT

Lynn is a Physical Therapist at the Chesapeake and Spine Center locations. An East Carolina University graduate, Lynn earned her B.S. in Exercise Physiology in 2006 followed by her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2009. Much of her clinical education was in the outpatient orthopedic setting with a focus on evidence-based practice including post-operative rehabilitation, aquatic therapy, and Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy of the spine.

Lynn is enthusiastic about educating patients about their condition and the rehab process. An avid runner herself, she especially enjoys working with patients who have walking/running gait deviations and lower extremity dysfunction. Her experience involves the treatment of balance disorders, geriatrics, and patients with post-surgical, spine, and sports-related injuries.
